Down Foundation was one of those bands that, even as I started losing interest in old school type bands, and straight forward hardcore, made it fun again, and made me want to listen. Comparisons were made to Bane, Ensign, Atari, etc., I think mostly because of the positivity, but I think the blending of styles made them to be more than just another band lumped in with the whole old school revival. DF members are now tearing it up in Endicott and Raheem is Rad. Dead Thirteen stains up the other side of this record with their final (and best) 2 songs. A mix of deathcore, metal, a little chug and a little grind, I've seen their side of the record compared to Morser and Candiria (vocally). Current members of Reaching Forward and Madeline Ferguson. song list:
Dead Thirteen: God Be Hazed
Dead Thirteen: Minutes
Down Foundation: Prevail
Down Foundation: Separate Ways
